En route Mt.Hoei

En route Mt.Hoei

Mt.Hoei, standing 2,707 meters above the sea level, can be clearly recognised as the part which looks like a shoulder of the elegant Mt. Fuji. This parasitic volcano on the mid-slope of Mt. Fuji was formed in an eruption on November 23rd, 1707. This photo here was taken during my Hoei promenade in September 2004.
